Welcome to all our visitors. Whether you are coming for a day or looking for a new church family, here is some information that may help your visit be more enjoyable. Please feel free to contact us by clicking on the “Request More Information” link on the bottom of the page.
1. What are services like?
St. John’s offers a relaxed, family friendly environment that focuses all our teachings on Biblical truth. You will find our ushers waiting to welcome you and provide you with a program for each service.
2. What options are available for our smallest church members?
In the basement of our church you will find a tv live-streaming our service. This is a space for little ones who might not be able to sit through an entire service, nursing mommas who need some extra space to provice for their baby, or anyone who may just want a little privacy for their worship.
For the little ones who will be joining us in service, ask our ushers for coloring pages and crayons to use during the service.
3. What do I wear to attend your service?
You will find full three piece suits to jeans and t-shirts. Please wear what you are most comfortable in. Your attendance is about you, not what you are wearing.
4. What are the services like?
Both of our services here at St. John’s Montello are traditional services. We do feature a large screen at the front of church, in addition to our programs and books to give you multiple options to follow along in whichever manner you prefer.
5. What about snacks and drinks?
If you are a person who enjoys your morning coffee during your worship or like to bring snacks for your kiddos feel free to do so. Of course we ask that you clean after yourself and you can find garbage cans in the back entrance of church if you need them. Many weekends during the school year you will also find bake sales and coffee in the linkway.
